Projects
from the Past...

JOSAT
began its journey in 2004 and there were just a handful
of hard working pioneers at that time who worked for
its formation. But they were successful in conducting
good social projects.
An
Eye Camp was conducted for 3000+ Children. Many old
students of St. Joseph's Matriculation Higher Secondary
School, Tirupur had become reputed Doctors of Tirupur
Town. They along with Doctor Parents of students teamed
to a strength of 45+ doctors and decided to conduct
an Eye Camp. Over 3000 students were tested for all
eye related health of the Children.
You
can see the Photos of the eyecamp in the JONET photo
gallery pages.
JOSAT
2004 was the first gathering of 250+ alumni of JMHS
invited by the Pioneer members and the School. It
was an introduction for many and it was decided to
conduct the Eye Camp in the School. It was also decided
to inform other alumni and strengthen the numbers
in coming years. The JOSAT alumni present there were
delighted by their reunion with the school after a
long 20 year interval. They become Children again,
Played games, Prized and praised themselves.

JOSAT
2006 was an astounding success with the Alumni gaining
strength in numbers and more people working for it.
It was very sentimentaly named "Neyabagam Varuthae"
(Memories are returning), which was a hit song from
the film of the famous Movie Director "Cheran".
And it lived up to the theme. Every Member met thier
Memories lost long back between the Pillars of their
beloved School. Excitment embraced everybody. They
Played games, chatted from the souls (without fine
from teachers) and decided to Continue the Celebrations
as often as possible. This website was announced then
to capture the colours coming afresh. A fresh page
will come up to thank many hearts, who worked for
this event and on good publicity.
